Policies and Procedures

Reservation: Please call to schedule your appointment a few days in advance. We do not accept walk-ins however, you may call to see if there are unexpected availabilities. Our therapists are not on call and all of our appointments are based on time slots that may be available for the week. To reserve appointment we do require a credit card or gift card/certificate information. The cancellation policy applies to first time clients as well. Please remember to check your schedule and commit yourself to the time that you have requested your therapeutic session.

Cancellation: Must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged 100% of session. Insurance clients are responsible for paying as cash or credit card clients if they do not cancel within 24 hours. Insurance clients who are charged a cancellation fee are now responsible for paying by cash, credit or check.

First time Clients: We request that you are 30 minutes early. 15 minutes to fill out necessary forms and 15 minutes to prepare your energy to receive work, use restroom etc. If you are an insurance client, please arrive at least 45 minutes early to make sure that you have proper documentation and approval for session.

Clothing/Draping: We do encourage clients to undress to their comfort level. We prefer that the client be fully undressed if we are to work in areas such as your gluts (buttock muscles), hamstrings or quads. We do drape the sheet to protect your privacy but do not for any reason go under the sheet or your underclothing. By being fully undressed you allow the therapist to work freely while still maintaining appropriate therapist/client boundaries.

Hygiene: As a clinical practice, it is important that we be advised that our hygiene must have consistent clean practices to reduce the opportunity for therapists and other clients to be affected adversely by poor hygiene. We humbly request that you would shower if necessary prior to your appointment. This advisory is primarily for individuals coming from labor related work and the gym or athletic training. We reserve the right to request that our clients shower. (This has absolutely never happened!!! No I’m kidding… once! Absolutely never!!!) If you need to shower, we will add $10 to your session total.

Appointment Time: We reserve the right to utilize the session for the best results of the client. Each massage is customized for the client. Some clients need more assessment time than others. Some clients will need a different variety of techniques used than others.

Tardiness: We encourage our clients to set aside time for massage. It is a healing therapy and we discourage just fitting it into your day which may result in tardiness. We regret that we will be unable to reschedule or lengthen appointments. Your appointment will end at scheduled end time.

Gift Certificates: Gift cards/certificates are only good for one year from the date of purchase. We do not assume responsibility to replace lost or stolen gift certificates/cards. Gift Certificates/Cards are purchased for the regular price of a massage and 20% gratuity. Please consider including gratuity to ensure that the therapist who provides exceptional work can be thanked by the gift purchaser and that it is not the responsibility of the client to tip. We do not offer refunds for gift cards/certificates.

Packages: This offer is for regular clients or those desiring to become a regular client and do not have an expiration date. You may purchase a package for yourself and send a relative to redeem a session such as a Household member, in-law, etc… You may add gratuity to the packages that you purchase.

Communication: We prohibit cell phone or any communication in the office. Out of respect for you and other guests we would like to reduce distraction and give you a time of peace and pace without necessity of availability. Please leave them in your car.

Children/Pets: Like communication, we would like to give you an opportunity to receive for you so that you can be rejuvenated for your loved ones. Please make proper arrangements for children and pets during your session. We love them dearly by the way!!! We are unable to watch pets or children in the office. This policy applies to children who are not receiving treatment, and who will be unattended in the waiting area. THIS RULE IS ABSOLUTE. If you come with children we will kindly ask you to please reschedule your appointment and you may be held responsible for your appointment that you will forfeit as a result of their attendance. We do not offer massage for animals at this time.

Comments/Suggestions: We are here because of you. We are here to serve you. In the front area, there is a suggestion box that you may always fill out during or after your appointment. In addition, there are feedback forms that are reviewed each week to let us know how we are doing as a center and therapists. In addition to looking for ways to improve we also look for testimonials that can minister to potential clients, please let us know if you are interested in having your feedback form used for such purposes. You may reveal your name or remain anonymous. These forms are available upon request. Call the office to have one emailed to you or come in to fill one out.

Attitude: We reserve the right to decline service to individuals who are or may cause disruption in the center. The center is a safe place. A place of peace and a place for healing. Please be mindful of your tone in the office and on the phone to respect the space, the energy and our hard working staff. We are more than willing to accommodate your needs and ask that you request them in peaceable manner.

Misconduct: We reserve the right to end a session at any time should the therapist feel uncomfortable for any reason that a client may have other intentions beyond receiving a massage. We allow therapists to use their discretion with regard to their boundaries and have a no tolerance policy for any disrespect or interest in anything other than therapeutic services.
